Second-Look® supports LEED

Second-Look is a comprehensive, closed-loop approach to sustainability. Our reclamation program retrieves and recycles vinyl wallcoverings that are currently in the marketplace. This material that would otherwise go to the landfill is transformed into new low-VOC wallcoverings with 20% recycled content. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has studied vinyl and recommended that it be treated equally with other building materials with regard to eligibility for LEED credits.

    Second-Look supports LEED criteria for:

  • * MR – Materials and Resources – Construction waste management
  • * EQ – Indoor Environmental Quality – Low emitting materials
